Hi! I’m Hannah, the Founder & Instructor of Doodle Bug Art Club.

I was born and raised here in Waxahachie and have always had a love for creativity and working with children. Growing up, I struggled to find an outlet where my art felt encouraged or valued. When my parents enrolled me in an art class, it completely changed how I saw myself — it helped me realize that my ideas mattered.

That experience stayed with me and inspired me to create Doodle Bug Art Club.

I currently work in education and have a background in both elementary and special education. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and flexible, allowing children of all skill levels and learning styles to feel confident and successful.

Doodle Bug Art Club was created to be a welcoming, low-pressure space where kids can explore creativity, express themselves freely, and feel proud of what they create. My goal is for every child to leave class smiling, confident, and excited to return.
